Big Green will house a state-of-the-art test facility, and it will require a built-in capability to support testing for years to come. The sensors required on each floor for the environmental monitoring will require on site computer and network space on the 8th floor, as the structure will be using 1000 measurement points per floor. Temperature sensors, voltage meters, and flow meters are just a few examples of the many types of sensors UGP will be using to measure characteristics of consumer products. This data will be recorded, stored on site and analyzed to provide consumers with product data that they can use to justify purchases by money savings that reduce environmental impact.
